This was a few days before I put the Wild Orchid in.

Are you looking for hot pink? I would recommend either Paul Mitchell's Ink Works in hot pink or Fudge in Raspberry Beret (it starts out a deep magenta, but within a week brightens to a screaming hot pink and stays that way). You can find Fudge on amazon.com.

How light are you bleaching your hair? My issue with my ends turning orange right away was that I had leftover black pigment on the ends, so when we bleached it, my ends only got to a light/medium orange, whereas the rest of the hair shaft that DIDN'T have the black pigment was a pretty buttery blonde. Also, when you touch up the pink, if you can get under a dryer, do so, otherwise leave it on overnight. It's a temporary pigment so it won't damage your hair. I would wrap my hair up underneath a disposable plastic cap, lay down towels and sleep with it in. This helped TREMENDOUSLY with the fading, but I still had to redo it every two weeks. I'm also in the sun a LOT, so keep that in mind.

You can also get a shampoo specially formulated for blondes - a purple shampoo. Drugstore brand is Shimmer Lights, salon brand would be Redken's Silver shampoo. Use that once a week. What happens is the purple will counteract the orange that comes out and will help keep the pink nice and vibrant. I also recommend that to my redheads to keep them from getting brassy. Hope this helps love!Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01347616383480432191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7705563436108901519.post-77511532100380336902012-03-20T19:11:48.398-04:002012-03-20T19:11:48.398-04:00Was this taken when you had wild orchid on your ha...Was this taken when you had wild orchid on your hair?

I used red pravana for about a year, then tried using pink w/magenta & it had a slight difference. Do you think wild orchid would make more of a difference?

I understand it'll look somewhat red no matter what I do, unless I.cut it off. I just dont want the ends to look as orange.

Any suggestions?SomeGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13659299667026989278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7705563436108901519.post-8617604168936949632011-12-23T21:28:39.440-05:002011-12-23T21:28:39.440-05:00The Naked palette by Urban Decay (the first editio...The Naked palette by Urban Decay (the first edition, not the second one) is your best bet!Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01347616383480432191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7705563436108901519.post-20371037324264880322011-12-23T21:26:28.513-05:002011-12-23T21:26:28.513-05:00i like this peachy tone! it makes the eyes really ...i like this peachy tone! it makes the eyes really fresh looking... i need something like this!Melissa Dominichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08384893615620533120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7705563436108901519.post-43180627200710700182011-12-08T22:20:31.781-05:002011-12-08T22:20:31.781-05:00hahaha i just start taking a little bit of this, s...hahaha i just start taking a little bit of this, some of that, and next thing i know, i've got a list a mile long lol. always happensJoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01347616383480432191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7705563436108901519.post-34611763041258378242011-12-08T16:18:37.440-05:002011-12-08T16:18:37.440-05:00It always seems like I use a ton of products too. ...It always seems like I use a ton of products too.
